The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 requires certain companies to disclose whether products they manufacture or contract to manufacture contains 3TG sourced from the Democratic Republic of Congo Conflict Region.

“3TG” includes tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold. The Conflict Region includes also, whole or parts of Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia.

Dynamic Source supports the regulation that seeks to avoid contributions to direct and indirect funding of armed groups engaged in conflict and human rights abuses in the Conflict Region.

As a distributor, and not a manufacturer, Dynamic Source does not manufacture or contract to manufacture products containing 3TG, nor do we directly purchase any 3TG.

Some of the products we distribute may contain 3TG and we seek to ensure traceability of 3TG used in the same, should that be the case. As a distributor, we are however not in all situations able to verify full traceability of 3TG in the products sourced, and 3TG may be part of products without our knowledge.  

For all customers requiring information on traceability of 3TG, refer to the specification of the manufacturers of the relevant products for further detail and information on possible 3TG in the products and origin of the same.
